Planning-appeals.ie has been created to make lodging an appeal against a Local Authority decision easy and cost effective. If you do not agree with the results of a planning application then the way forward is planning-appeals.ie. We are also able to make your views known on a current appeal to An Bord Pleanala. It can be so annoying and frustrating if you have spent a lot of time and money submitting an application that you thought was going to get planning permission, just to have it refused. Do you feel the Planning Authority has not given enough consideration to your objection and granted planning permission? There can be instances where planning permission has been granted for reasons such as the Planning Authority being unduly swayed by misleading information with a planning application, or failing to give enough consideration to certain matters. If you are unhappy with a grant of planning permission, having previously made an objection, then we want to hear from you.

Timescales:

Appeal / Observation Service Includes:

Research and review the statutory planning policies and other relevant planning documents against which the Planning Authority has determined the application.

Research the relevant recent planning history (your site and neighbouring properties).

Prepare the grounds of appeal and appeal statement.

Administer the appeal process and liaise with An Bord Pleanala over the appeal timetable.

Rebut any further issues raised in the Planning Authority’s decision to grant or refuse.

Report back to you on the decision.
